Thoughts From our Clients

  • 5 star review  Great place! Jessica is the best PT and Dave is great too. She is super knowledgeable. I went to her with a frozen shoulder and in lots of pain. I couldn’t lift my arm at all. Other therapists didn’t even touch me and gave me silly exercises. I started working with Jess and after a long year I can lift my arm above my head. I also worked with Dave when Jess was out and he is terrific too. You can’t ask for a better team!!

5 star review  I've been going to Dave for personal training (specifically for golf fitness) and cannot recommend working out with a physical therapist more. Anytime anything felt painful or "weird," we would stop, he'd isolate and resolve the issue, and we'd be able to continue in less than 5 minutes. As someone just getting back into working out after years of living a sedentary life, it's a real comfort to know Dave won't let me hurt myself. It helps me push and get more out of each session. Dave's a great guy I now consider a friend. 14 out of 5 stars.

  • 5 star review  I found David after working with 3 other physical therapists on my neck issues, dizziness, tinnitus, and headaches. He was the first to provide any lasting relief. Instead of following a prescribed plan as the others had, David used a detective-like approach to address my problems. He listened carefully to my many symptoms, and through trial and error determined the areas needing attention. His approach worked! And his dry needling technique really helped me too. Most of my head and neck symptoms have completely resolved. The rest have become very manageable - even the tinnitus (which I had been told was here to stay, and will likely get worse!) It has been a great joy to get back to the activities I love without dizziness and pain. And he taught me the exercises I need to maintain my pain-free status. I highly recommend his services.

5 star review  I have had Therapy done by both David and Courtney. There is a good reason why they are 5 star rated. The personal attention is unsurpassed and effective. Courtney is cutting edge, personable and works to achieve your physical goals. Very nice not to work with the typical in and out PT office.

  • 5 star review  I have seen David for three separate injuries over a span of 18 months. First was for my meniscus, which I had an MRI prior, and he fixed me with dry needling and PT. I have high anxiety when it comes to needles but he made it literally painless and very effective. My second injury was a reoccurring back/disc issue. I was in the cusp of back surgery, which from past experience with chiropractic appts, I wanted surgery and thought I needed surgery, but I went and saw him first (with an MRI in hand) and he saved me from surgery with stretching, exercises, and dry needling. My third injury was another injury to my same knee. I didn’t want to get ANOTHER MRI, so he did an assessment, figured out what was needed, and did dry needling, PT, weighted exercises, and fixed me, yet again. He was always available, as I threw my back out on a Sunday morning and he saw me immediately and saved me from a weekend of pain and discomfort. He listens and understands everything I tell him. I would recommend him 100% to anyone needing any sort of PT. His office is 30+ mins from my house but I go to him for his expertise, his availability, his professionalism, and his kindness.

5 star review  Dave is AMAZING! My initial session with him was an incredibly positive experience. He is knowledgeable, experienced and has the unique ability to share information so it is easily understood. He taught me exercises and practices that immediately gave me relief from my pain. He also has an amazing bed side manner. He cares! He takes time with new patients to learn about their physical limitations and then creatively puts together a supportive plan for rehabilitation and healing. I walked away feeling encouraged, optimistic and empowered in my body. Thank you!

  • 5 star review  I was very happy to see Dave start his own business as I had worked with him in the past with excellent results. He is the best around! I have continued to work with him on headache/neck/jaw pain with consistent results. Add on top that he is a great person, cares about you, provides an excellent experience, I would highly recommend Dave and Chardon Physical Therapy!

5 star review  DO YOU WANT RELIEF? Dave is your PT doc for an excellent whole body approach to PT. His medical care is customized per your needs. Everyone has different needs and it is refreshing that health insurance is not dictating standard PT protocol under his care. Health care should not be a one size fits all RX. He listens, asks questions to determine the best approach and tweaks it as you move forward. My pain level has reduced. I have a lengthy medical history. Instead of working on just one body part like standard PT allows, we work on multiple areas(stretch, strengthen, pain relief). He is always happy to answer your questions. He has used manual therapy and dry needling in multiple areas on my body. He also created a personal video for my daily exercise/stretch routine. Talk about custom. He asked me what I what I wanted to accomplish/goal setting. "Reduce pain, strengthen, be able to take a long walks without increasing the pain, ride indoor/outdoor cycles without increasing pain." I mentioned I wanted to bring our indoor cycle up to our first level in our home recently. I could help my husband carry it upstairs, however probably not without worsening some body part. He asked me if he could stop by after work and help my husband carry the cycle upstairs. How very kind of him to offer this, to make sure I reach that goal and not ruin my body in the process. He is thoughtful, has an excellent bed side manner and has a truly creative method to PT medical care. Thank you Dave for changing up the industry!
